Justin Bieber talks about taking paternity test + his new song “Maria”. Justin says the scandal was “ridiculous” and “wanted it to be over.” Watch the video!
Mariah Yeater’s name may be out of the headlines for a couple of weeks but she is not backing down from her claim that Justin Bieber is her baby’s father. Mariah exclusively spoke to Chicago Sun-Times on (Dec 19) about her plan of pursuing paternity claim against Bieber out of court.
“I am still pursuing the paternity claim through my Chicago attorney Jeffery Leving and my Los Angeles attorney John Carlson but outside of court. I dropped my lawsuit, but never my claim. I still definitely want a DNA test and I want to refile my paternity case.”
Yeater believed that Justin “is the father” of her 5-month-old son, Tristyn. She said, “I had sex with him on Oct. 25, 2010 in a bathroom at the Staples Center in L.A.” When asked about her ex-boyfriend Robbie Powell who has been rumored as the real father, Yeater said, “Yes, I know him. He is not the father, and he’s locked up and out of the picture.”
Just last week Robbie Powell told RumorFix Yeater was lying about the whole story. He claims that Yeater devised the story and then sold it to a tabloid for $50,000.
“She just picked [Justin Bieber], because she thought he was famous and all and thought she could get a lot of money by telling the magazine Justin was the father. She just saw him as an opportunity to make a lot of money.” Robbie said.
If you thought you had heard the last about Mariah Yeater — the woman who claimed Justin Bieber is the father of her child — think again. Yeater’s ex-boyfriend is now speaking out about the ordeal, and says the whole paternity suit was based on a lie.
“She lied,” Robert Powell told RumorFix about Yeater, claiming she made a whopping $50,000 from selling her story to a tabloid. “She just picked [Justin Bieber], because she thought he was famous and all and thought she could get a lot of money by telling the magazine Justin was the father. She just saw him as an opportunity to make a lot of money.”
In November, Yeater caused quite a media frenzy when she came forward and alleged that she and Bieber had sex in a bathroom after one of his concerts last year, and he is the father of her son. Bieber denied the claims from the start, but agreed to take a paternity test to settle the issue once and for all — and plans to sue Yeater and her lawyers for creating the story in the first place.
“I know I’m going to be a target, but I’m never going to be a victim. It’s crazy, every night after the show I’ve gone right from the stage right to my car, so it’s crazy some people want to make up such false allegations. But to set the record straight, none of it is true,” Bieber told the “Today Show” in response to Yeater’s allegations.
Powell, who is currently in jail after being arrested for burglary and drug possession, says he’s sure he’s the father of Yeater’s baby boy and he actually feels bad for Bieber for being thrown into his personal drama.
“I feel sorry for Justin Bieber,” he said. “He’s just a little kid, man. He don’t need to be going through all this drama. He got a career and sh*t to focus on. I feel sorry for the dude.”
Mariah Yeater’s ex-boyfriend says he’s the daddy — her case is losing ground by the day!
Mariah Yeater may have accused Justin Bieber of fathering her baby, but a new piece of evidence has come out — her ex is claiming the child!
Mariah, 20, alleges that Justin, 17, is the father, but her ex Robbie Powell is now stepping up and taking responsibility, TMZ reports.
Sources say Robbie’s now speaking out because he’s annoyed that Mariah’s using the baby to try to get money and fame since she’s broke. She even admitted her scheme to Robbie, the sources say — how shady!
Robbie’s so sure he’s the dad that he’s willing to take a paternity test — seems reasonable to us!
What do you think, Beliebers — is Mariah’s ex-boyfriend the father?

“It comes with the territory,” he said.

Justin Bieber wants media to stop drawing attention to Mariah Yeater.
Mariah Yeater hit the headlines earlier this month after sensationally claiming Justin had impregnated her during a backstage romp for 30-seconds at one of his concerts in Staples Center, Los Angeles last year, Daily star reported.
Justin voluntarily took a DNA test on Friday, November 18 in a bid to put an end to the scandal and he wants the media to stop giving Yeater the spotlight.
“I didn’t have to do it (DNA test), I did it because I wanted to, I just wanted everything to be out in the open and be like, Listen, there’s no reason for this to even be a discussion. It shouldn’t even be a discussion. If I have to take it, if I don’t have to take it, I’m gonna take it just because, it just made sense,” he told the VIEW.
“I don’t even know if she’s gonna take it or not, I don’t even know… I’m not even paying attention. I think we`re bring too much attention to this girl who just wanted, you know, (fame),” he added.
Mariah Yeater desperately wants a DNA test – just not the one Justin Bieber took last week, her lawyer claimed on Nov 23rd, reports NYdailynews.com
Mariah’s lawyer Jeffery Leving said …Mariah deserves the right to meet Justin with her baby and lawyers present and watch while he gets his cheek swabbed for DNA testing, he said.
“I want a new DNA test with both sides together at a lab in California as soon as possible,” Leving told the Daily News. “As soon as I tell her to do it, she’ll do it. We need proper protocol and a chain of custody.”
Leving said reps for Justin Bieber made a unilateral decision when they sent Justin for a test at a New Jersey laboratory last Friday.
“For me to feel comfortable, I want a member of my legal team in the room when Justin Bieber’s genetic fluid is sampled,” he said. “This case is unique in terms of media interest, celebrity and the amount of potential child support at issue. There could be motives on the parts of many different people to corrupt the evidence.”
In response to Mariah Yeater’s text messages, Leving believes text message attributed to Yeater that name another man “Robbie” as the possible baby-daddy were “spoofed.”
Bieber’s team told the media that Yeater is a fraud who’s trying to extend her 15 minutes of fame by drawing out the DNA test as long as possible.
Mariah Yeater has dropped her paternity lawsuit alleging Justin Bieber fathered her four-month old son, reports contactmusic.com
Mariah Yeater, 20, had alleged she became pregnant with Justin’s child following a 30-second romp after one of his concerts in Los Angeles in October 2010 and although Justin – who vehemently denied the claims – had agreed to a paternity test, the suit was quietly withdrawn late last week, according to TMZ.com.
Mariah’s lawyers Lance Rogers and Matt Pare have also stopped representing her after Justin’s attorney Howard Weitzman warned Mariah they were planning to sue her and her legal representatives for making false claims.
Justin previously revealed he was happy to take a DNA test to prove his innocence but insisted he would not “waste” his time meeting his accuser face-to-face because her fabricated claims were vindictive.
Justin told pop star said: “All this stuff is dealt with by my legal team. But if they want me to (take a paternity test) then I will.”
When asked what he would say to Mariah if he could meet her, he said: “Nothing, I wouldn’t waste my time. I guess (she’s done this) for attention, but it’s not something I am interested in. These people are not worth my thought or time.”
Uh.. Glad this is over. She’s a big liar.
Should Justin Bieber sue her back?
Mariah Yeater tried repeatedly to settle with Justin Bieber out of court, her lawyer said Wednesday.
Chicago lawyer Jeffrey Leving sent emails to the Bieb’s camp twice in September and again Oct. 3 asking for a private paternity test and direct negotiations without the need for a court filing, Leving told the Daily News.
He got no response.
“It could have been done painlessly, with the media never knowing about it,” Leving claimed. “Access to justice should not be a luxury only the rich can afford, especially in a society where people are so enamored by celebrity status and wealth.”
Leving said he “trusts” Mariah Yeater’s story after lengthy discussions with her and her mother and hopes a judge will order a DNA test after a court hearing Dec. 15.
He said Bieber’s lawyer did agree to a test, but Leving wants to make sure it’s court-ordered and properly supervised.
“There has to be a sufficient chain of custody. Now it’s a high-profile case, and there’s motive to corrupt this. People are so enamored with Justin Bieber, you could have someone change samples in a lab because of love for this guy,” he claimed.
“She’s an unemployed single mother struggling to make a future while being intimidated and bullied. She has a right to make her case without threats of being sued or jail time. This is outrageous,” Yeater’s lawyer said.
